Repair-Leaking Wells/Delaminating troughs

Sometimes the well will start to leak, or the trough top becomes un-glued from the aluminium base. This is often caused by thermal shock causing the PTFE top and the aluminium base to part company due to the different coefficients of expansion of the materials. We will strip the top from the base, re-etch the PTFE and then re-attach the top.Please note that although we have had 100% success to date, it may be necessary to either skim the top again afterwards, or to manufacture a new top if it becomes damaged. We will contact you if this is the case to discuss the extra work/cost involved.
